The duties of this position encompass the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accreditation process. DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as liaison to Dean of Instruction and other college administration in regards to the occupational therapy assistant program. Prepare, as needed, an annual report of program progress. Provide information as needed to the assigned Dean of Instruction, to ensure that the program meets the requirements of federal and state regulations, accreditation standards and college policy. Work with faculty to facilitate the planning, organization, direction and coordination of the program. Regularly conduct program faculty and staff meetings. Prepare program information for communication at the occupational therapy assistant advisory committee meetings.
