For GS-11: Completion of 1 year of professional experience as an audiologist equivalent to the next lower level (GS-09); or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree; or doctoral degree in audiology, hearing science, or a directly related field.  Staff Audiologist at this grade level performs audiology assessment and treatment intervention.  If unlicensed, the individual must function under the supervision of a licensed audiologist.
