Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) Company: USr Healthcare, LLC Location: Helena, AR Description: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)Job Summary: The Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician is responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, and control diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.  Consults with physicians.  Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction of medical, nursing and other staff members.Education/Work Experience Requirements: Must possess a current state Respiratory Therapist License.Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment, preferred. Licensure/Certification: CRTT Certification.Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Arkansas.PALS/NALS /ACLS Certifications (must obtain within 6 months of hire)Abilities and Skills: Sets up and monitors patients requiring continuous ventilation, adult and neonatal.Administers and monitors respiratory therapy treatments.Records pertinent information on patient charts and maintains departmental records.Performs diagnostic tests and non-invasive monitoring.Administers and monitors continuous oxygen therapy.Performs arterial blood gas punctures and analyses.Performs cleaning, preventive maintenance, and calibration of RT equipment as required.Located right off the banks of the Mississippi River, Helena offers a wide array of activities for the entire family, especially for those who enjoy the lifestyle that comes with getting away from the hustle of the big city.  Tens of thousands of Blues enthusiasts from across the country come to historic downtown Helena annually for the annual Arkansas Heritage and Blues Festival, held each October.  Outdoor activities are readily accessible and enjoyed for fishing and hiking in the St. Francis National Forest and at Storm Creek Lake.
