Job Title: Supervisory Occupational Therapist Company: Location: Washington, DC Description: Develops protocols and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) program. Provides oversight to the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Oversees occupational therapy students at the Occupational Therapy Student (OTS) and Occupational Therapy Assistant Students. Establishes training plans for students and new OT personnel who may provide OT services within the TBI program. Provides evaluation to determine patient's current level of function/dysfunction. Plans and implements complex, goal-oriented treatment plans for patients presenting with a multiplicity of dysfunction in areas of occupation. Evaluates patients with needs in multiple facets of care, to include cognitive and neurological rehabilitation, psychiatric and upper extremity complications and/or injury. Develops appropriate evaluation, treatment, and recommendations regarding fitness for retention.
