You will be providing direct therapeutic care to a diverse patient population with a variety of patient diagnoses to include but not limited to: orthopedic, pediatric neuromuscular disorders; burns; and ambulatory, non-ambulatory & mental health patients. You will be working with the attending physician to determine the length of the treatment period and coordinating with Orthopedic physicians and psychiatrist to establish plan of patient care, as it relates to therapy. Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).This is a term position, the initial appointment will be for 13 months, and may be extended up until the BRAC Closure date of 9/15/2011.
