Job Title: RESPIRATORY TECH Company: Fort Duncan Medical Center Location: Eagle Pass, TX Description: Responsible for providing respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians as per established standards and practices. Mitigates problems that arise between Respiratory Therapy and other health care professionals. Responsible for daily work assignments among other technicians.   Requirements Current Texas Practitioners License. Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current CPR certification. ACLS certified. Understands Respiratory Care that includes invasive and noninvasive methods of delivering therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Knowledge in both adult and pediatric ventilator applications. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a traditional or non-traditional program for RRT eligibility.
