National Jewish Health:Careers National Jewish Health is looking for a Creative Art Therapist in our Pediatric Psychiatry Department to provide ongoing creative art therapy programs to meet the needs of children and their families receiving care in the Day Treatment program.This is a Part Time, 20 hour/week, benefited position. Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Knowledge and Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to assess the individual needs of children and make appropriate interventions; ability to work well with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Education Master's degree in Art, Dance or Music Therapy from a program working towards accreditation or accredited by the appropriate national organization: The American Art Therapy Assn., The American Dance Therapy Assn., The American Assn. for Music Therapy required. Certification and Licensure Registered/Certified Art, Dance or Music Therapist by the appropriate national professional organization required. Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor required. Work Experience A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar setting required. - or - Any equivalent combination of Education and/or Experience A cornerstone in the Denver healthcare community, National Jewish Health is a non-profit, non-sectarian institution.
