He/she calibrates and measures oxygen saturation using a pulse . Electrode placement and recording of electrocardiogram is performed in addition to monitoring heart rate during exercise tests. The incumbent will implement American Thoracic Society guidelines for pulmonary testing when determining validity of test measurements.
