Sign Up Location: Las Vegas, NV Description: Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and respiratory assessments to patients of all ages in all non-critical care areas, under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Currently enrolled in a BOME-approved Respiratory Technician/Therapist program or Graduate (less than 12 months prior) of an AMA-approved Respiratory Technician/Therapist program. Technical Skills: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department and provide the care/service as described in the department policies and procedures. License/Certification: Current State of Nevada Blood Gas Assistant license preferred. Current BCLS Certification. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
