Pediatric, Speech Language PathologistOur client is a school district located approximately 30 miles south of the Washington D.C. metro area. We are searching for a speech therapist to work with students with diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders, LD, MR, CP, etc. Inclusion is desired, but some pull out therapy is used as well. The majority of the caseloads are students with language and/or articulation impairments. Some travel between schools may be required, although the schools are a short distance apart. In addition to treatments, you'll do evals and standardized testing for new kids needing IEP's. This is a contract position for the 2010-2011 school year. Each therapist has a private treatment room with a computer and a phone. Testing and therapy materials are provided. Lots of support for newer or CFY therapists. This is a great location with a lower cost of living.
