Using independent judgment, the Director of Therapy Services organizes, develops, directs, and supervises all aspects of Therapy Operations, which includes two Ohio Clinics, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered at all times. These opportunities are leadership opportunities for PT Managers, who are interested in growing these oprations, and assuming more responsibilty over the area for this very successful National Rehabilitation Company. In addition, the Director position: · requires effective supervisory skills along with good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships. · is responsible for staffing and scheduling to provide adequate coverage for patient treatments. · requires competency in therapy discipline for evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment. · requires competency in therapy discipline for evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment. · is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of financial and budgeting. · maintains open and an on-going communication with the Area Manager of Operations of the Company. REQUIREMENTS · Solid experience in Rehab oversseing one or more clinics in orthopedics desired. · Current State license in Physical Therapy, or ability to obtain a license in the state. · Successfully completed a Bachelor*s degree or higher from an accredited therapy program · Additional training with a Master*s or Doctor*s degree in either professional or management area is preferred. · Minimum three years of rehabilitation experience, with two to three years in management is required. · Ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbal arenas. Job Title: Home Therapy Manager/Coordinator Company: Fresenius Medical Care Location: Milford, DE Description: Functions as part of the Home Therapies dialysis health care team as the Coordinator of Home Therapies for a defined geographic area.  Ensures provision of quality home patient care in accordance with FMS policies, procedures, and training. Responsible for growing the assigned Home Therapies program in coordination with the Business Unit management and support functions.  Supports the FMCNA mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy.  Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, ICU experience preferred.Minimum of one year dialysis experience, peritoneal experience preferred.Supervisory experience preferred. Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of dialysis therapies.Competent at operating all Home Therapies related equipment.Maintains current knowledge in the operation of such equipment, including hemodialysis machines, water treatment systems, peritoneal dialysis machines and patient assist devises.Successfully complete CPR Certification with maintenance as required.Icd-9 coding Training.Demonstrated leadership skills including, but not limited to communication, customer service, performance management and continuous quality improvement.
