Oversee inventory, order processing and distribution of products and services.  Hire and review the physical therapists on staff. Plan and coordinate activities of a multi-team organization. SUPERVISES:  Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, rehab services aides, certified athletic trainers, occupational therapists, occupational therapist assistants, program coordinators, physician schedules, secretarial staff, volunteers and students in assigned areas         SPECIAL POPULATIONS:  Must be able to direct care to support a range of populations served in rehabilitation services (adolescent, adult, geriatric, sports injuries).        QUALIFICATIONS: ·        Two years of management experience in a physical therapy program·        Five years of clinical experience in rehabilitation services·        Masters degree from an accredited physical therapy program·        Current NJ state PT license RESPONSIBILITIES: ·        Assist development of marketing/strategic plans and activities for a start-up state of the art rehabilitation facility·        Develop & maintain relationships and proactively communicate with physicians, referral sources, community liaisons, payers, professional leaders, co-workers, and internal and external customers·        Develop new business while growing existing business·        Manage budgets to efficiently ensure positive financial performance·        Assess financial data to determine the effectiveness of the therapy program·        Perform and oversee billing functions and record keeping to maximize reimbursement; have a working knowledge of insurance/payers·        Provide relevant program knowledge, analytical leadership, administrative guidance and advice in the day-to-day management of the therapy program·        Provide hands-on therapy services using varied modalities·        Demonstrate excellence in clinical competency·        Train, manage, and evaluate staff in state of the art therapy interventions and applications, introducing new modalities as appropriate·        Align human resources to maximize quality and productivity·        Manage program operations in accordance with state and federal law·        Be accountable for implementation of goals and objectives for therapy services and business growth·        Make independent decisions and apply professional judgments in solving difficult situations·        Serve as coach, mentor, and positive role model to foster teamwork·        Develop, oversee, and maintain documentation which complies with standard practice requirements including assessment, plan of care, objective and subjective complaints, measurable short and long term goals, and progress·        Demonstrate personal, as well as staff development and improvement·        Manage the maintenance of therapy equipment, DME, therapy inventory and supplies·        Develop QI standards and carry out a plan for ongoing monitoring, enforcement and correction in order to hold self and others accountable to the highest standards·        Conduct client satisfaction surveys and utilize information to develop strategies to accomplish goals·        Maintain highest level of customer service and provide ongoing supervision with staff to insure the best quality of service·        Participate and develop in the development of strategic planning initiatives to maximize program services, promote program expansion, and to promote business growth.·        Supervise cleaning crew and linen supply·        Keep equipment maintained, updated and maintain proper inspections·        Supervise volunteers·        Perform all additional tasks as determined necessary by administratorContact Sharon Weinreb, Medical Staffing Services at Register to View or email Register to View .  Fax Attn: Sharon at Register to View
