Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing IEP Plans
• Document patient progress and communicate with IEP team members
• Instruct teachers and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to IEP planning

Required Skills:

• Experience in Activity Analysis
• Knowledge of sensory programming activities
• Ability to perform fine-motor and visual-motor activities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with adaptive equipment and school-based therapy
• Knowledge of IEP programming
• Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to implement therapeutic interventions

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: 24.00/hour
• Maximum Salary: $28-30/hour, based on experience
