Physical Therapist help patients suffering from injury or disease to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. In addition, the therapist promotes patients' overall fitness and health and work with the healthcare team including Physicians, Occupational therapist, Skilled nursing staff, Home Health Aids and Psychologists. The physical therapist supervises the PT Assistants in providing supportive individual training to Home Health Aide assisting patients with assigned self-performed therapy when Therapist is not present. These services are performed one on one in the patient’s home or in an area arranged by the therapist and patient. Mileage paid.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree and licensed graduate of an accredited program. They must pass the state examinations and maintain continuing education as required by state. Agency staff are required to complete charting with in 48hours and will not be paid for visit that are not charting complete within software. A request for exception form administration may be arranged. Equipment provided.
