Hearing Aid Dispenser

Responsibilities:

• Performs hearing screenings, including otoscopy, air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing.
• Performs earmold impressions, hearing aid consultations, hearing aid orientations, and Real-Ear-Measurements (REM).
• Performs hearing aid checks and troubleshooting for scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Quality control and process of new and repaired hearing aid devices and equipment.
• Provides appropriate treatment plans and counseling/education for patients.
• Assist with other department duties as requested by the program director.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser in the state of California (proof of active license).
• Previous work experience with infants, children, and adults.
• Experience with third-party hearing aid companies.
• Experience with a variety of hearing aid manufacturers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hourly Range of $30-$33.
