Recreational Therapist.

JOB TITLE : Recreational Therapist
WORK LOCATION: Hempstead County Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center
DIVISION/DEPARTMENT : Behavorial Health
REPORTS TO : Department Director

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Must be able to function with knowledge of the job requirements and within acceptable productivity standard of unit.
2. Must be able to demonstrate necessary communications skills and maintains good relations with others.
3. Must be able to function independently.

All other duties required by Department Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science Recreational Therapy
BLS upon hire
CPI within 3 months

LICENSURE: No certification for Activities Coordinator (recreational therapy)

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year in recreational/activities, preferably in Gero-Psych or rehabilitation
