Job Description:
The Doctor of Occupational Therapy ( OTD ) Program at Lincoln Memorial University-Knoxville invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy, depending on the successful candidates qualifications and experience. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator ( AFWC ) will play a pivotal role in the planning, implementation, and oversight of fieldwork experiences across the OTD curriculum. This includes developing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures that align with the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education ( ACOTE ) Standards for Fieldwork Education. The AFWC will teach in their area of expertise, engage in student evaluation and mentoring, and collaborate with program faculty to integrate fieldwork with didactic coursework. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to maintain an active scholarly agenda and contribute to service activities in accordance with the expectations of the program, institution, and ACOTE evaluative criteria.

Required Qualifications:
*Doctor of Occupational Therapy ( OTD ) degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education ( USDE ) recognized regional accrediting body; *Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy; *At least two years of documented experience in occupational therapy, including (a) clinical practice as an Occupational Therapist and (b) professional experience as a fieldwork educator or formal documentation of training in the roles and responsibilities of a fieldwork educator; *Documented expertise in the area(s) of teaching responsibility, as demonstrated through education, training, or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, or equivalent) in a related field; *More than two years of experience as a clinical or academic fieldwork educator; *Prior teaching experience in a higher education setting; *Experience with curriculum development and assessment in occupational therapy education; *Record of scholarly activity, including research, presentations, or publications; *Experience with accreditation processes, including preparing and managing documentation for ACOTE reviews; *Demonstrated leadership abilities in academic or clinical settings; *Active involvement in professional organizations related to occupational therapy or higher education.
