Full time Speech Language Pathologist Technician position, working with students grades K through 12 throughout the district.
7.75 hours /day Monday through Thursday and one Friday a month
Will assist the Speech/Language Therapists deliver speech/language services to eligible students in group and individual settings. Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. Will need good communication skills and be able to establish rapport with students and staff.
Speech-Language Pathology Support Technician Job Responsibilities
1. Assist the speech-language pathologist (SLP) with speech-language and hearing screenings.
2. Assist with informal documentation as directed by the SLP.
3. Implement documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
4. Document student performance.
5. Assist the SLP gathering pre-assessment data and during assessment of students.
6. Assist with clerical duties such as preparing materials and scheduling activities as directed by SLP.
7. Exhibit compliance with district regulations, reimbursement requirements, and SLP job responsibilities.
8. Coordinate and schedule meeting involving SLP, parents, teacher, administrators within designated timelines.
Associates degree or 32 educational credits or able to pass the Para Pro Test.

Salary based on current paraeducator salary schedule.
Placement determined by education and experience as a para or speech related experience.
