Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for orthopedics and a thirst for continued knowledge and growth.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals within the scope of occupational therapy practice.
  • Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy protocols, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
  • Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and instructions provided to patients and their caregivers accurately and comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals based on the initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and their interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
  • Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs, incorporating therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address concerns, and optimize treatment outcomes.

Ensure timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum
  • Current state of Georgia license, CPR certification
  • Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • New graduates are welcome!
