Massage therapist are responsible for administrating professional massage and body treatments to our guests. Must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities and possess excellent communication skills. Must be willing learn and train in the spa's specific massage/body treatment protocol. Must hold a current state license and keep up to date with continuing education requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be on time for your shift.
• Be able to properly use spa booking software to keep up to date on your schedule.
• Prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the allotted time.
• Provide consistent massage and body treatments in accordance with protocols and procedures.
• Be flexible with your schedule to support the needs of the spa.
• Properly clean and restock treatments rooms as needed.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all provided services and upgrades.
• Use care when using equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with product cost.
• Possess ability to work without constant direct supervision.
• Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa and resort.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff, guests, and the facilities that require attention.

Position requirements:

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with people and have a friendly, and outgoing attitude.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Basic computer and spa software knowledge.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to hold upwards of 25lbs.

Education and experience requirements;

• Must hold and maintain state license
