Speech-Language Pathologist , Speech Therapy

Job Type\: PRN , Day S hift and as needed

Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following\:

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.

Fully Licensed SLPs Only\:

  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Minimum Education Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology\: Preferred X Required Required Licenses [Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist Current Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee\: Preferred X Required OR Current Provisional Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee with the expectation to obtain a regular Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee within 12 months from hire\: Preferred X Required Required Skills Certifications\: The below certifications will be required at the time of hire\: X Basic Life Support (BLS)
