Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.)

Description:

• Update and inform Occupational Therapist of pertinent information
• Update IEPs
• Bill Medicaid
• Create treatment activities to implement IEP goals
• Write weekly progress notes
• Organize and care for OT equipment
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Certified through Indiana Professional Agency to work with children and young adults from ages 3-22
• Must have a car to travel between schools and will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist
• Must possess time management skills and professional COTA writing skills
• Must be able to work well in a team setting and be flexible
• Must work well with a variety of special education students
• Confidentiality is a must
