We are searching for an Assistant Director of the Respiratory Care Clinic -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide 24-hour accountability for the clinical, administrative, and human resources activities of the Respiratory Care Department. Ensures the delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate patient and family-centered care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the delivery of high quality, cost-effective patient care for designated areas of responsibility, within a family-centered care environment
- Identifies, provides, and/or creates opportunities for the department leadership team, as well as staff, to grow professionally
- Identifies, facilitates and participates in Performance Improvement projects that enhance patient care delivery systems and/or patient satisfaction
- Develops and prioritizes department goals that are congruent and supportive of the IDS strategic plan
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and communicates relevant information, in a timely manner, to Director, medical staff, interdepartmental liaisons, and department staff
- Identifies, provides, and/or creates opportunities to support and enhance the departments work environment
- Oversees the development and implementation of new clinical procedures and the development of appropriate competencies for the procedures.

Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory care or related administrative or healthcare field
- Licenses/Certifications
o RT CERT - Cert-Reg Respiratory Therapist
o RCP - Lic- Respiratory Care - RCP
o BLS Preferred
- 5 years' experience in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory therapy and 2 years' experience in a managerial role
