About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Cana, VA! This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide progress reports.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Virginia state licensure as an SLP.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
School-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to create engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
Experience with or willingness to learn virtual therapy technology if needed.
Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
