Part-time, 20 hours/week M-F Between hours of 7AM - 7PM Onsite Amherst, OH Summary: The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities. Responsibilities: Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities. Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed. Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols. Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations. Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise Experience in occupational therapy is required. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required. Experience in healthcare is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Education and Experience Education: Applicants must have a Bachelor?s degree, Master?s degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required. Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
