2025-26 Part-Time Occupational Therapist - Special Services Team (Itinerant - 25 Hours a Week)

Occupational Therapist Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide direct Occupational Therapy; screenings; evaluations; re-evaluations; Individualized Education Program-related paperwork in compliance with IDEA, the South Carolina Department of Education, and Liberty STEAM Charter procedures; and meetings and conferences with parents and district staff including IEP meetings. The Occupational Therapist will serve scholars at both the primary and elementary campuses in a part-time capacity not to exceed 25 hours a week.

• Flexibility in scheduling

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct Occupational Therapy services
• Initial Occupational Therapy Evaluations
• Occupational Therapy Re-evaluations
• Teacher/Classroom/Parent Consultations
• IEP meetings, IEP documentation
• Documentation of clinical notes, progress reports, evaluations, re-evaluations,

teacher/classroom/parent consultation notes

• Occupational Therapy Screenings and documentation
• Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and all time/meetings relevant to the child and his/he performance within the school environment

Compensation:

• $35-$60/hour based on experience relevant to the position (certified OT experience)
