Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our supportive K-12 school team near Burnet, TX. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to support students in developing essential life skills and improving their sensory and motor skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school setting and positively impact students' academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing individualized and group occupational therapy services to students.
Implement therapy plans designed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.
Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Maintain accurate records and document progress toward therapy goals.
Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Valid Texas COTA license or eligibility.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team in a school setting.
Previous experience with children is preferred but not required.
