Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist delivers a wide range of therapy and interventions to inpatients, outpatients and emergent/urgent care patients. They are responsible for implementing respiratory care with an understanding and awareness of populations specific needs. Therapists serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team, perform protocol ventilator management and provide education to the patient, family and staff. Minimum Qualifications:

• RRT credential verification from the NBRC required. **The RRT credential is nationally recognized as the “standard of excellence” for respiratory care professionals
• RI License required
• BLS from American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
