What You'll Do
Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides D/C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures. As additional support for coverage during absence of the Lead PT, this position may have to coordinate the workflow through the Home Health therapy department, by planning their daily staffing and schedules of assign coverage.
Requirements
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days.
Auto liability insurance.
Clean driving record.
Current driver's license.
Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist and has achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination.
Must be able to successfully pass KDADS criminal record check upon hire.
Must register with and successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry upon hire. For more information and to register please visit
