WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Training & Education Recognizes and adapts teaching and counseling appropriate to the patients' level of comprehension.
• Program Support Supports onboarding and leadership or organizational development program efforts.
• Patient Care Documentation Documents patient care information and ensures timely and accurate completion of patient care records in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Treatment Evaluation Prepares and submits reports and charts to treatment team to reflect patients' reactions and evidence of progress or regression.
• Patient Assessment Obtains information from medical records, medical staff, family members and patients to assess patients' capabilities, needs, and interests.
• Outcomes Reviews completion of clinical therapists' assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner that achieves expected outcomes.
• Basic Recreational Therapeutic Skill Implements basic recreational therapeutic skills.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree Recreational Therapy
• Required 1 year Social Services/Therapeutic recreation/Leisure work experience
• Required Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
• Required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association
• Preferred Master's Degree Recreational Therapy
