Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive team at a K-12 school near Spotsylvania, VA. This full-time opportunity allows you to work closely with students to improve their functional abilities, supporting their academic success and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other staff members

Work with students to improve motor skills, daily living activities, and sensory integration

Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal setting

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Virginia OT license or eligibility to obtain one

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with children or in school settings

Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
