Physical Therapist- Home Care (Full Time)

Are you passionate about making a real impact in patients' lives? We're looking for a dedicated and driven Physical Therapist to lead the charge in delivering top-tier therapy services. In this role, you'll take ownership of patient carefrom evaluations and crafting personalized treatment plans to hands-on therapy sessions, all in accordance with the Kansas Physical Therapy Practice Act.
You'll oversee the full spectrum of care for your patients, including supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and ensuring accurate, timely documentation. If you're ready to be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team where your skills and compassion truly matter, we want to hear from you!
Knowledge and skills:
1. Must know principles and practice of Physical Therapy; be familiar with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics; be familiar with department/facility policies, procedures, regulations, and layout; be aware of inter and intra department/facility communications; be able to apply supervision and management techniques.
2. Must be able to apply the theory of Physical Therapy; have the ability and competency to operate the equipment of his or her position; be able to perform technical procedures; be able to speak intelligently and in a professional manner before others; demonstrate supervision and management skills.
Education & Experience:
1. Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by; The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
2. Passed an examination for physical therapists approved by the state in which physical therapy services are provided
3. A minimum of 1 year experience preferred
Licensure, registration or certification:
1. Must have active State Licensure. Licensure must be obtained as per state law.
2. Must have, or immediately obtain Basic life support (BLS) certification. Must maintain BLS certification
4. Valid Kansas driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required
5. Automobile in good working condition as driving to patient homes is required
6. Ability and willingness to drive within service area according to departmental policy.
