WeCare at Burgh Care Center is actively seeking a motivated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our community in Pittsburgh, PA. Our Physical Therapist Assistant helps residents improve their mobility and move forward.
Key Responsibilities
· Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort. · Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training. · Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment. · Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Graduate of an accredited PTA Program. · Current State PTA License. · Outpatient experience is preferred.
