Job Summary:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that enhance communication and functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and swallowing capabilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Provide therapy for a range of communication disorders, including articulation issues, language delays, and fluency challenges.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing skills.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Stay informed on best practices and advancements in the field.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
