Acute Physical Therapist Full Time

Conduct Comprehensive Patient Assessments

• Evaluate each patients condition and functional limitations to design individualized treatment plans suited for acute recovery.

Deliver Therapeutic Interventions

• Implement physical therapy techniques such as manual therapy, mobility training, and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patients stage of healing and care goals.

Monitor and Adjust Treatment Plans

• Track patient progress closely, making real-time modifications to ensure continued improvement and safe recovery.

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams

• Work in partnership with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care in a hospital environment.

Educate and Support Patients and Families

• Teach patients and caregivers techniques for safe movement, home exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to ensure long-term success and injury prevention.

Encourage Mobility and Wellness

• Champion early mobility and promote physical activity as an essential part of healing and overall wellness.

Education:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
• New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply

Licensure & Certification:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Nebraska
• Specialty certifications (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro) are a plus

Skills & Experience:

• Acute care or hospital experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
