Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions, ensuring top-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients respiratory needs and conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patients progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and available treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelors degree preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
