Are you a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact in acute care? Join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Lothair, Montana , and help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence after surgery, illness, or injury. Youll play a key role in early recovery, supporting patients at one of the most critical stages of their healing journey.

What Youll Do

Conduct Comprehensive Patient Assessments

  • Evaluate patients' physical function and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their medical status and recovery goals.

Deliver Targeted Therapeutic Interventions

  • Utilize a variety of acute care techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and equipment-based support to restore function and prevent complications.

Monitor and Adapt Plans of Care

  • Continuously assess progress and adjust interventions to ensure efficient recovery while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Collaborate Across the Care Team

  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation staff to create seamless and integrated care plans in the hospital environment.

Educate Patients and Caregivers

  • Provide training on proper body mechanics, home exercise routines, and safety strategies to support continued recovery post-discharge.

Promote Mobility and Prevent Functional Decline

  • Support early mobilization efforts and advocate for wellness and activity as key components of recovery.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply

Licensure & Certification:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Montana
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics) are a plus

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Adaptability to fast-paced clinical environments
