Audiologist (Pediatrics) - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

As an Audiologist at Cook Children's, you will have the education, knowledge and skill to provide out-patient services through our fast-paced ENT clinic, focusing on diagnosing hearing loss for all pediatric ages. You will work closely with the patient, their family, speech pathologists, school personnel, specialists, and physicians to recommend and implement a plan which enhances a child's functional hearing to facilitate learning and development. Cook Children's audiologists also specialize in serving children who have been unable to complete routine audiology testing in traditional settings. Audiology services provided include: Behavioral audiometry (including BOA, VRA, CPA and standard testing methods) In-office infant Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing and sedated ABR testing Otoacoustic emission testing Hearing aid and bone-conduction device evaluation and selection (including dispensing, testing and repairs) FM/remote microphone system and other assistive listening device support Ear mold impressions for custom hearing aid, custom swim plugs and hearing protection. The position shall include patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics and agencies, both within Cook Children's Health Care System and within the community. Documentation and correspondence pertaining to these services shall follow department and system policies.
