You could bike along a converted rail trail that winds past farmland and forestor simply sit beneath a starlit sky in a backyard that actually gets dark enough to see the stars.

Weekends here are full of local festivals, small-town diners, antique shops, and riverfront trails. Theres no rush hour. No honking horns. Just space to breathe, and a community that still believes in waving hello and holding the door open.

And when you crave a little more buzz, youre not far from the city. Youll have easy access to the dining, culture, and amenities of nearby metro areaswithout the stress, cost, or congestion.

What Were Looking For

To thrive in this role, youll need a strong foundation in clinical skill, a deep respect for patient-centered care, and the adaptability to meet each client where they areliterally and emotionally.

Youll need a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, along with an active Ohio PT license and current CPR certification . A valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance are required, as youll be traveling to patients homes each day.

You should be confident with functional evaluations, plan-of-care development, documentation systems (including OASIS), and interdisciplinary communication. You should also be comfortable supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and coordinating with RNs, aides, and case managers for seamless patient outcomes.

Most of all, you should believe that recovery isnt just physicalits personal. And that your role, in someones home, can be one of the most powerful parts of that recovery.
