NEW Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA Needed Near Red Lake MN

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a dynamic school-based team near Red Lake, MN. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to help students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy support services to K-12 students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Assist with implementing IEP goals and treatment plans

• Support students with fine/gross motor skills, daily living activities, and sensory integration

• Document student progress and maintain accurate records

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success

• Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insight into student care

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Active Minnesota COTA license or eligibility to obtain one

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Passion for working with children in educational settings

Preferred Experience:

• School-based or pediatric therapy experience

• Familiarity with IEPs and special education services
