Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Home Health

Location: Portland, OR
Work Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible, with weekends off and on-call rotation (1 weekend per month)
Territory: East Portland

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in providing home health services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and be committed to delivering quality therapy services in patients' homes. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes according to established treatment plans.

  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.

  • Track and report patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

  • Educate patients and families about exercises and activities of daily living.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associates degree in Science or Applied Science (required).

  • Current PTA licensure in the state of Oregon.

  • BLS CPR certification.

  • A valid drivers license with reliable transportation and appropriate insurance coverage.

  • Excellent observation, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

  • Prior experience in home health or a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $40/hour for non-visit related activities (DOE)

  • $50-$55 per visit

  • Sign-On Bonus

  • Mileage reimbursement included

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to work independently and travel within a 60-mile radius of Portland, OR.
