The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for In-Person Clinical Fellow mentorship and supervision in Sierra Sands Unified School District.

Qualifications:

• Aminimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
• Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience
• Completesat least two hours of professional developmentin the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP(SSG can provide if needed)

Duties/Job Responsibilitiesinclude:

• ProvideCF Supervision for CF-SLPsper ASHAguidelines

• Minimum 6 hours of on-site and in-person direct supervision and 6 hours of indirect supervision activities will occur during each third of the CF experience

• Provide CF with the mentorship needed tobecomean independentpractitionerof SLP services.

• Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring andfeedback andassist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills.

• Complete all records and feedback/ratings within a timely manner. See2020 Standard VII

• Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the 2020 CFSI[PDF]

• Provide the minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment in order for the hours and weeks earned during that segment to count.

• Adhere to professional & ethical best practices

Compensation: The CF Mentor will receive a monthly stipend provided for each CF SLP that is being supervised.
