Contract Recreation Therapist - St. Louis, MI**Care One is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist capable of delivering a variety of therapeutic recreational activities for incarcerated individuals**Details**- St. Louis Correctional Facility - St. Louis, MI- Day shift- $32.00/hr.- PTO- Weekly Pay**Recreational Therapist Responsibilities:**- Plan, lead, and supervise individual and group recreational therapy activities including yoga, calisthenics, board games, sports, crafts, sewing, painting, cooking, and more.- Evaluate individual needs through observation, documentation review, and functional assessments.- Maintain and manage therapeutic materials, equipment, and program supplies.- Document all therapy sessions and activities in the electronic medical record (EMR)**Recreational Therapist Qualifications:**- Graduation from an accredited Recreational Therapist program- Valid Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist(CTRS) in the state of Michigan.- Ability to relate to and treat all patients and their particular problems.- Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management and documentation skills.- Basic Cardiac Life Support certified.**Pre Employment Requirements**- Drug screening- TB screening- Physical- Background checkJoin us in making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. !Visit Us * Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:- Dental insurance- Health insurance- Paid time off- Referral programLicense/Certification:- Certified Recreational Therapist (Required)- BLS Certification (Required)
