Job Description:
**Responsibilities** Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help with language problems and to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. **ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Demonstrates competence with clinical skills necessary to provide care appropriately to all the patient groups served by the speech language pathology service + Provides treatments as included in POC + Provides instruction in/demonstration of equipment, treatments, disease process, self care and exercises to patients, family, and staff. + Provides timely and accurate documentation of services provided in the medical record, per policy. + Communicates with medical, nursing and other Rehab staff + Staff will strive to provide service to patients or clients by filling our service promise of Kind, Compassionate Care, EveryPerson, Every Time. + Staff will maintain an awareness of overall safety in regards for all athletes, patients and clients. + Other duties as assigned by management **Sign On Bonus: $15,000** **Qualifications** Advanced Degree from Accredited Institution 1-3 years of experience SLP Licensure in State of MN **Overview** CHI St. Francis Health is a ministry serving the head of the Red River basin located in Breckenridge, Minnesota, founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls in 1899.
