Details:
  • Full-time, 36 hrs per week
  • 12 hour shifts - 5:45p-6:15a
  • Weekends - 4 days per month
  • CRT or RRT

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness and perform blood gas analysis. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program; certified or registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.
  • Current ACLS and NRP Certification within 1 year of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
  • Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Color vision is required.
  • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with other in person and over the phone.
  • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
  • Able to frequently lift at least 60 pounds, reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e., draw arterial blood gases, assemble, and disassemble equipment).
  • Able to work in latex burdened environment.
