Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make a meaningful impact? As a COTA, youll play a vital role in helping students build essential life skillsfine and gross motor, sensory, vocational, and self-carethrough compassionate, hands-on work in classrooms and the community.

What Youll Do:
Work side-by-side with our Occupational Therapist to deliver direct services and consultations for students.
Help gather data and prepare for IEPs, pre-IEP meetings, and evaluations.
Support students in achieving their OT goals related to independence and daily living.
Train staff on adaptive equipment, sensory strategies, and classroom supports.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Assist with creating materials, documenting progress, and contributing to grant efforts and outreach projects.
Bring creativity and purpose to small group sessions and caseload-specific activities.
Be ready to jump in with coverage when neededwhether for therapy sessions, meetings, or special events.

Who You Are:
A licensed COTA in Rhode Island with an associates degree.
Preferably experienced (12 years) working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Detail-oriented, organized, and flexiblewith a heart for empowering students.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and respond quickly in active classroom settings.
Comfortable with documentation and working collaboratively across teams.
Have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
