FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The massage therapistprovides quality massage therapy in a manner that is holistic andrespectful of the individual\'s personal rights and dignity. Servicesare provided in a therapeutic environment conducive to relaxation,stress reduction, pain release and health promotion. Other duties asassigned. Other information: EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of 500hours of massage therapy experience is required. Experience in OncologyMassages or willingness to take training classes for Oncology massage.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Current Massage Therapy licensure by theWisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing is required. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy orholds National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work isrequired. PLEASE NOTE: This is an independent contractor positionproviding Relaxation or Swedish massages to patients and theircaregivers in the Cancer centers at Froedtert and the Medical College ofWisconsin. Number of days and hours are flexible but may be subject toroom availability. Opportunities available in Milwaukee and Oak Creek.All equipment and clean linens provided. Appointments managed bycoordinator on site.
