Job Description:
This is an on-site, team-based role that focuses on resolving credit balances in a high-volume healthcare billing environment. You will handle outbound calls and process adjustments to ensure accurate and timely resolution of overpayments.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and resolve credit balance accounts, ensuring validity and accuracy.
Make outbound calls to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys regarding refund requests.
Process adjustments due to posting errors, write-offs, or rate changes.
Ensure compliance with payer contracts and overpayment regulations.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience in a credit balance or healthcare billing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of payer processes.
Familiarity with claims processing, coordination of benefits, and overpayment regulations.
