Job Overview: Utilize current practices and methods of speech/language assessment and therapy for students ages 3-21 in the educational setting.

Job Functions:

Adhere to all Special Education federal and state rules and regulations pertaining to the referral, identification, and placement of students with communication disorders within the educational setting.

Participate as a team member in comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations.

Provide communication therapy in a variety of settings.

Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and others concerning the needs of students with communication disorders.

Participate in the development and implementation of student IEPs.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Adaptability to accepting responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of an activity.
