UK St. Claire is seeking a compassionate and skilled homecare physical therapist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Asst. demonstrates a sound knowledge of the principles and applications of physical therapy procedures and modalities. Provides patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental levels for all patient populations. Works under the supervision of the physical therapist.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Administer treatment/modalities following the physical therapist patient evaluation and treat the patient in accordance with professional standards of care and practice based upon the patient's disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
Provide patient/family/caregiver education based on the patient's disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Experience:
One or more years of clinical experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy license
Valid Kentucky Driver's License
